ST. THOMAS, July 8, 2022 – On Wednesday (July 6, 2022), the City of St. Thomas Special Events Committee approved the application submitted by Good Vibes Community Association to host the inaugural St. Thomas Summer Harvest Festival from September 23 to 25, 2022 in Pinafore Park.

Over three days, the St. Thomas Summer Harvest Festival will include two stages of live music culminating with a performance by Beverley Mahood. This will be Mahood’s first ever performance in St. Thomas despite having ties to the community.

Other main stage acts performing include Guns N Roses tribute band Dust N Bones, social media sensation Crash Adams, pop singer-songwriter Dani Doucette, London-based band Texas King and Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) male artist of the year Aaron Allen.

Throughout the rest of Pinafore Park, attractions will include unique activities and events for children, seniors, and families as well as wellness and multi-cultural programming. Speciality attractions will include a Hollywood and classic car show, a vendors market for local businesses and artisans, and community competitions that will highlight the “Best of…” St. Thomas.

“The St. Thomas Summer Harvest Festival will be the ultimate culmination of our community’s summer events,” said festival Executive Director, C.J. Allen. “We have planned something for everyone – we have put emphasis on ensuring an inclusive, environmentally responsible and fun filled weekend representative of the interests and demographics of St. Thomas.”

Each of the three days of main stage live performances have been given themes: Friday, September 23 will favour “Nostalgia”, Saturday, September 24 will be “Pop/Rock” and Sunday, September 25 will focus on country music. The main stage events will be ticketed with tickets going on sale tomorrow (Saturday, July 9) at noon. Other activities may have a nominal participation fee but, the weekend is by-in-large a free event for attendees.
